Reading of a New Work

Just before I was going on vacation I received an email from my NY agent about an offer to participate in a Reading of a new musical entitled “The Museum of Broken Relationships”. I read the script and found it touching and very different.

It’s official! War Paint’s closing has been moved up to November 5th, 2017 due to Ms. Lupone’s need for hip replacement surgery sooner rather than later.

“Yellow the wet wild strawberry leaves”

The title of this post is from William Butler Yeats poem “The Falling of the Leaves.”

I’m familiar with the piece after recording my one and only album in the mid 1990’s; a masterful art song cycle composed by John Aschenbrenner entitled “To An Isle in the Water: The Poetry of William Butler Yeats.”
