Well, I am off to New York City at the end of the month to perform in the Lincoln Center Theatre’s Tenth Anniversary Benefit Concert of The Light in the Piazza on the Vivian Beaumont stage on Monday evening of April 4th, 2016.
I can not believe it’s been ten years, but there it is! I will be reprising my role as Signora Naccarrelli and after reading through the back and forth emails between all of my fellow cast mates, we are all excited, scared, and honored.
My husband and I will be making the journey back East together, and looking forward to seeing some very close friends over the week end since it’s been such a long time.
I’ve been rehearsing the music, and re-visitng the score has been a treat. What beautiful music Adam created, and to hear it again with a full orchestra and Maestro Ted Sperling at the helm will be a memorable experience.
As my husband always says “you cry if the wind changes!” so I better have a towel on hand because the tears will indeed flow like the wind.
