I  have been home now for a couple of weeks since closing Grey Gardens at ACT in Seattle, and I was absolutely exhausted and spent, but being in my green gardens as opposed to the grey ones has been medicinal. Speaking of good medicine.  I was so touched when my cast applauded me at our last curtain call.  That moment will certainly stay with me forever, and I am pretty proud of myself for getting through the run.  Now I am focused on helping my husband with our company Northwest Response, and embracing the beauty of our gardens, and the lovely days of summer that have been blessing us these last couple of weeks.  The gardens are happy and so am I, but I’ve found that saying good bye to the grey ones has been a bit harder than I thought it would be.  I miss everyone a lot, and sure wouldn’t have made it without each and every one of them; I wish them all well!
