Well finally after three months….well maybe four months we (my husband and myself) have finally sat down over the Christmas break and tackled my website. Choosing a theme and re-doing the pages and links etc. I’m actually happy to have a site back, and even though I disappeared from the internet for awhile I’m okay to be back in the thick of things. Anyway, welcome all of you who have followed me throughout the years, and a big hello to all the new visitors.
I have been grateful to have this year to be home, out of sight, and basically regrouping from a life changing event in San Diego (see The Heart of the Matter posted on November 11th, 2014 for details). I still have a few more hoops to jump through, but I’m feeling healthy and positive. I have a new cardiologist who “shoots from the hip” and learned more from him in ten minutes than I have known in the last year, so I am feeling good about being under his care.
I am loving the Christmas/New Year Season, and went crazy with the lights and decorating; everything looks beautiful. We have kept things very quiet this year, and I am relaxed and ready to face any and all new challenges that await me as I greet 2016.
Some of these include re-learning Auitami for the upcoming 10th Anniversary Benefit Concert of The Light in the Piazza which will be presented on the King and I set of the Vivian Beaumont theater at Lincoln Center on Monday, April 4th, 2016. It will be extraordinary to see all of my cast mates again after all these years, and the only downside is having to re-learn one of the hardest songs I ever had to perform; OH WELL. How Blessed am I to be able to participate in a wonderful event like this?
My husband will be with me and we look forward to seeing a few of our dear friends that still live back in NYC so I’m sure it will be a memorable experience.
Anyway, I hope everyone likes the new site. We both know that it still has some work to go, but at least I’m out of “maintenance” mode….and most importantly……I want to wish everyone a
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
