These greetings have been spoken throughout the decades by generations of well meaning folks around the world, and sometimes end up sounding as if they didn’t have the heart behind the sentence; as if they were uttered out of necessity.
I want to always really mean the words when I say them, but I have to admit that sometimes I’m not thinking about it when I say it to the check out person at the store, or wherever I might be during the Christmas Season.
Right now as I write this I do want to Wish Everyone A Merry Christmas and A Very Happy New Year!
I’m wishing for everyone to have a safe and wondrous couple of weeks with those loved ones who they hold dear. For those who can’t be with family or are facing a Holiday alone; have Faith that someone is there for you if you reach out to them.
Have Faith that there truly is a Higher Power that controls the Universe, and that a lifetime journey never really ends, but continues to bring many lessons to teach the soul to elevate and move to an understanding of contentment, self awareness, and a centering that helps one accept the things one can not change and in the words of Saint Francis of Assisi “to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love.”
Some Charles Dickens’s quotes :
“God Bless Us Every One”!
I’m hoping that 2019 will bring joyous times, and much laughter, but if there are tears to be shed; that we will all have the strength to get through the sorrow, and hold on to the Faith that the journey is Eternal.
