What a trip!!!

Well I made it back from living in L.A. for the last month. WOW! what a trip it was! I truly enjoyed meeting and working with the director, choreographer, musical director, all of the amazing dancers, singers, actors, and creative team of “Loving the Silent Tears” that was presented live as well as televised on Oct. 27th. They all made this unique musical concert come together, and the over all experience was a positive one. I was also very impressed with the kindness of the Producing team; such gracious, and loving hearts! I ate Vegan all month and found the food very good, my accommodations were great, and even though there were a few bumps in the road, I had a pretty good time.

I am home and so very happy to be here, but now I must  turn my full attention to “I Will Wait For You”; the one-woman musical I co-wrote and will direct in January back down in Los Angeles, and also begin the process of discovering and portraying Edith/Little Edie in Grey Gardens being produced at Seattle’s ACT in collaboration with the 5th Avenue Theatre. We start rehearsals in February, and updates will continue when I find the time. In the meantime, I wish everyone a Blessed Holiday Season!

I took the above photo with my phone while resting in the lobby of L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium in the late afternoon. I was so struck by it’s beauty, and when I was on Facebook I saw the exact same picture a fellow actor had taken that very same day; ah synchronicity!
